Is SynByteIT ERP really free? What does "zero licence fee" mean?
SynByteIT ERP is built on Odoo Community, which is open-source with no software licence fee, ever. You invest in implementation (setting it up for your business), low monthly hosting, and support. There are no per-user licence fees.
Is it built on Odoo? How is it different from plain Odoo?
Yes, the core is Odoo Community. On top, we add the GCC features most businesses here need (WPS, GOSI, EOSB, QID / Iqama alerts, Arabic payslips) and configure everything to your workflow. You get a proven global platform, localised for the Gulf.
Do you also offer Odoo Enterprise?
Yes. We deliver and support both Community (SynByteIT ERP) and Odoo Enterprise, and we recommend the right edition honestly based on your needs, not on what earns us more. We deliver and support both editions.
How long does implementation take?
Most businesses go live in a few weeks, depending on the modules, data and number of users. A focused starter setup can be fast; large multi-company or camp-based deployments take longer. We agree a clear timeline after a free scoping call.
How much does it cost?

Does it handle WPS, GOSI and end-of-service?
Yes, these are built in: one-click WPS SIF file generation for Qatar and KSA, automatic GOSI contributions, and End-of-Service / Gratuity calculated to GCC Labour Law, plus QID / Iqama expiry alerts. See GCC compliance.
Is it ready for Qatar VAT and e-invoicing?
Qatar has not yet introduced VAT (a 5% rate is widely expected, and a draft e-invoicing law was approved in 2026). SynByteIT ERP is VAT-ready and fully configurable, so you’ll be prepared when it arrives, and it already handles KSA VAT and ZATCA e-invoicing today.
Is it available in Arabic?
Yes. Payslips, invoices and reports are bilingual Arabic / English, and a full Arabic (right-to-left) interface is available.
Do we own our data? Is there any lock-in?
You own your data and your configuration. Because the core is open-source, there is no per-user licence trap and no vendor lock-in. You can host in the cloud or on-premise, with GCC-region hosting available.
How many users does it support?
From a handful to 500+ users. We size the server and price to your real user count, so you never pay for capacity you don’t need.
What support do we get?
One year of technical support is included, with ongoing annual maintenance plans available. Our team is local and works in both English and Arabic.
Can it use AI?
